Run for Fun
I got back to running today. It had been a while since I’d gone for any kind of run, even though I used to run regularly and have completed two marathons a couple of years ago. For the past few weeks -- maybe even months -- I had been trying to get back into it, but I kept finding all kinds of excuses not to run: the weather, being tired, being busy, and so on. But then there comes that one day when something just clicks. And suddenly, you do it with ease, joy, and lightness.

Yin
Yin is a woman. A woman cocooned in her femininity -- warm, sensitive, sensual, and transformational. She is compassionate and loving, floating yet grounded; creative, quiet, and peaceful. Soft at the edges, yet strong at her core. She is aligned with her emotions, held by a regulated nervous system, juicy and wet with life force. She is so deeply rooted in her Yin that nothing can shake her. Roots, boundaries, and the ground itself exist to hold and protect this Yin cocoon.

Alignment
I feel like January’s theme is alignment -- and it doesn’t seem exclusive to me. It feels collective, as though we’re all moving through an alignment process together, or at least certain parts of the collective are. Surely, every aligned individual shifts the collective.
